Installation Guide
The shape of every setup, the three fields that cause most problems, and links to the walkthrough for your specific device.
Every setup has the same three parts
Whatever device you own, installation comes down to the same sequence. Install a player app from that platform’s own app store. Open it and find the screen where an account or playlist is added. Enter the details we sent you. The guides linked below differ only in where those screens live and what the buttons are called.
The details we send you
After your order is confirmed you receive one of two formats, and which one you need depends on the player you chose.
- An M3U playlist URL. One long web address containing your whole channel list. Players that ask for a “playlist”, “URL” or “remote source” want this.
- Xtream Codes details. The same subscription split into three fields: a server address, a username and a password. Players with three separate boxes want these.
If your player asks for something that does not match what you have, tell us which app you are using and we will send the other format. Both describe the same account.
The mistakes that cause most support messages
Type nothing by hand. An M3U URL is long, contains random-looking characters, and a single wrong letter produces an empty list with no useful error. Send the details to the device by email or a messaging app and paste them in.
Watch for a keyboard that capitalises the first letter automatically — television keyboards are the worst offenders, and a capitalised username will be rejected. Watch too for a trailing space when pasting, which is invisible and breaks the address just as effectively as a typo.
If the list is still empty
Check in this order. First, re-enter the details by paste rather than by hand. Second, confirm the subscription is active — if you have only just ordered, it may not be live yet. Third, try the same details in a player on a phone: if they work there, the problem is the television app rather than the account, and that is a much easier thing to fix.
Still stuck? Send us a photo of the player’s settings screen with the password covered, plus the device and app name, and we will tell you what is wrong with it.
